Job Description :
The Babcock & Wilcox (B&W) Research Center in Barberton, Ohio has an open position for a research engineer to support R&D activities in solar thermal power, wastewater treatment, and environmental control systems. Position responsibilities include engineering calculations, design of experimental systems and associated test procedures, physical flow modeling, pilot-scale testing, and data analysis and report preparation. Job Requirements :
Qualifications/Requirements: Candidates should possess an MS degree in mechanical engineering or similar fields from accredited US universities. Good knowledge of heat transfer, fluid mechanics and scaling laws are essential for this position. Strong preference will be given to those who are experienced in characterizing heat transfer and flow patterns via the application of advanced measurement techniques. General familiarity with instrumentation is beneficial. Good interpersonal and communications skills are also required.
