Dear Local Section Leaders,
This month’s Local Section Webinar will feature ACS Immediate Past President Judy Giordan, leading a conversation about the Trust in Science and Scientist initiative. I’m thrilled that we are expanding this webinar to include volunteer leaders of ACS Divisions, International Chemical Sciences Chapters, and ACS Student Chapters.
Join us for this one-hour webinar to learn about training and grant opportunities that are available to empower and engage members to effectively communicate with the public to restore and renew trust in science. This webinar will feature a breakout session to discuss new programming ideas and avenues for ACS component groups to collaborate.
Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at 1pm ET.
I hope you can make the time to join us in this important conversation.
