This year marked the The Kavli Foundation ACS Presidential Plenary Symposium on Challenges in Nanoscience, held at the 2009 Spring ACS National Meeting and Exposition.

This was the first time the ACS meeting included a keynote and plenary session dedicated to the meeting theme.
