Hello NOK ACS Members,
The Northern Oklahoma section of the ACS has finished judging for the local Technician of the Year award. We are happy to announce this year’s winners. The candidate pool, the applications, and the letters of support were all remarkable and the NOK ACS board would like to express its gratitude toward all participants in this annual recognition process.
Historically, one to three winners have been selected with one winner being named “Overall Winner.” This year, three winners were selected. Laura Nielsen, Technician at Phillips 66, was selected as this year’s Overall Winner with Jared Barr and Tony Crain, both Technicians at Chevron Phillips Chemical, also winning awards.
Please join the NOK ACS board in congratulating these folks. An award ceremony will be held the afternoon of October 23rd at the PRC. More details will follow—we hope to see you there!
