I am in the process of purchasing an appropriate Vortex Biological Mixer for a new laboratory. Is there someone who is familiar with Vortex Biological Mixers? I am researching one company (Scientific Industries, Inc.) that makes the Vortex Genie 2. For some reason their product consistently sells well, despite the fact that there are cheaper foreign alternatives. I am trying to determine what the competitive advantage is for the Genie 2 and whether I would do just as well with a cheaper foreign unit. Any recommendations or reviews you may have would be very helpful and much appreciated.
