Clarice Phelps, a scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee will talk with students and faculty at Valdosta State University at their Chemistry Mentoring Luncheon on Friday September 23, 2022. Clarice Phelps has been recognized as the first African-American women involved in the discovery of a chemical element. Go science!
