Obviously, a research director wants to provide students the best possible opportunities that can stimulate their productivity. I would like to know if people believe that "inquiry-guided learning" approaches are among the best ways to stimulate student learning or if there are more productive or efficient methodologies out there. Currently, I am working in a exciting program known as BioSUCCEED (http://www.biosucceed.com) that desires to provide concrete learning paradigms in six (6) topical areas (biomass fundamentals, biomass characterization, biochemical processing platforms, thermal processing platforms, solid-state composites, and life cycle analyses).
