I don't know much about the Volt. I heard it was going to list for $41k. Seems a bit steep for something that can only travel all electric 40 miles or so. It does make we wonder - do the batteries capacty reduce a fraction (like a PC Battery, etc..) so as my car ages, will the small gas engine kick on at 38, then 35 then 30 miles.
I will wait see how they perform in real life (meaning someone else's real life) before I burden myself with that. If one of you jumps on the band wagon, please report back!!
