Research and Special Interests:
My research is oriented around understanding the physical properties and solid-state thermodynamic transitions of small molecule API. As an industrial chemist, I feel that it's important to have technical and business relevant information available and am active with the Division of Business Development and Management. Also, as the chemical enterprise is global I feel that it's important for chemists to have extensive global networks and I try to help through programming with the Committee on International Activities.
Area of Expertise:
solid-state chemistry, materials characterization, polymorphism, crystallization, thermal analysis, X-ray powder diffraction, analytical chemistry, vibrational spectroscopy
