Dear ACS Hawaii Members,
As the life of some of our members are being significantly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the executive committee of ACS Hawaii decided to repurpose some of its budget and setup a small “Help Fund” to aid affected members. If you are an active ACS member, and you are facing significant financial challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic that you feel a modest amount would help ($200~$500), please write us an email letter, explain your situation, and include if possible verifiable evidence of your need. The executive committee will review the documents, and send out the help checks to the degree that is possible. If you need non-monetary assistance, the ACS Hawaii can also help get your words out to our membership, if that helps in any way.
Please send your email letter and proof to hiacssecretary@gmail.com by 6pm, April 17. Please remember to include your active ACS member ID number for identification purpose.
