With few exceptions, underrepresented minority (URMs) students who study physics find themselves as "solos" at almost any campus in the nation. Morehouse College, a Historically Black College/University (HBCU) for men in Atlanta Georgia graduated the most URM bachelor’s degreed physicists in 2006. The 24 male bachelor’s degree recipients represented 8% of all male URMs who earned these degrees in physics in that year.
