More Hispanic students are enrolling in college than ever, with male Latino enrollment increasing 255% between 1976 and 2004, and that of Latinas rising by 510%. However, many Latinos/as are concentrated in two-year community colleges, according to Deborah Santiago, Vice President for Policy and Research of ¡Excelencia! The "however" means that all of us have to pay much more attention to, focus our efforts on, Community Colleges. How can ACS help? Do we have materials? Could we develop a symposium, and make it available free on the web? Could we make a special effort to invite Community College teachers to attend Regional Meetings, and hold special events for them? Who will muster the forces?
