NEW POLL: Editing for your journal submissions

Question asked by Charles Replogle on Feb 19, 2010

Hello Colleagues,

  1. Do you have your journal articles edited prior to submission?  If not, why not?
  2. Do you have a colleague edit your papers, or do you utilize a professional service?
  3. If you do use an editing service, how many times/year on average do you send them papers?
  4. On a scale from 1-10, how important is it to you that your copyeditor be a chemistry specialist, or at least understand your content?

Thank you...your information is quite valuable to us at ScienceDocs and may also stir up a lively discussion.  I am personally looking forward to hearing some of the answers!  Best of luck to all with their research endeavors!
