CINF Leadership Development: call for applications

Good morning CINF Members:


In 2009 our Division received seed funding for the CINF Leadership Development program from the ACS Committee on Divisional Activities. With this program we would like to encourage participation among division members in the CINF Governance.


The following five ACS Leadership Development courses are scheduled for the Spring 2011 National Meeting:


  1. Sunday, March 27, 1-5 pm, Strategic Planning
  2. Monday, March 28, 8-12 pm, Engaging Colleagues in Dialogue
  3. Monday, March 28, 1-5 pm, Coaching & Feedback
  4. Tuesday,March 29, 8-12 pm, Leading Without Authority
  5. Tuesday, March 29, 1-5 pm, Leading Change

The Division would like to offer financial assistance  (up to $625) to one  CINF member to support attending of the ACS Leadership Development course(s) at the 241st ACS National Meeting & Exposition, March 27-31, 2011, Anaheim, CA.  



The aid may be used for the ACS meeting registration  fee, leadership development course(s) [50% discount rate per course is offered via a division scholarship code], CINF luncheon ticket, and lodging at  a hotel.  Committee Chairs,  Assistant Committee Chairs, Committee Members, recently  elected Officers and potentially new Officers are eligible for the CINF financial aid.

When applying, please indicate your interest in a Leadership Development course and why you would like to be considered for the aid.

The recipient will  be selected by a jury consisting of the Division Chair,  Chair-Elect, Past-Chair, and Treasurer.
