Does anybody have suggestions of good places to buy supplies/chemicals (temperature probes, syringes, alginate, calcium chloride etc.) for cooking with chemistry classes? Thanks!
Flinn Scientific for chemicals including sodium alginate. They also have a good high school lab book for food chem - I'm sure some of the experiments could be adapted for College
Vernier Instruments for probes - also lab books
Spectrum Chemicals is a good source for food grade chemicals. They have some equipment as well.
