I'm a big fan of the the Periodic Table of Videos. In case you're not familiar with them, they are are group of scientists and filmmakers from the Univiersity of Nottinghmam. They produce short videos about elements that are fun, engaging and informative. All of their videos are available free of charge on YouTube. One of their lastest videos highlighs their endeavor to create an interactive periodic table with QR codes.
Print a copy of their Periodic Table and place in your classroom or office, then scan one of the element codes with your smart phone to watch the associated video.
