Hi April 2012 "Sparklers,"
Tell us one thing you learned during the ACS Network session that will help you with your local section public relations activities. (You may win a prize!)
I took the session at the Leadership Institute (not at Sparklers) but I've found how easy it is to connect with other members. Since then, I've had some great interactions that have covered a variety of topics. In addition, I've learned more about the society and have gotten some great ideas from reading the various posts I've seen.
How to add people to my network. How to access forums/groups.
The ability to create a group and collaborate with others, exactly what my section is looking for lately.
To make new friends with in the ACS community
I've just created a private group for my section. If anybody is interested to follow us and see what's happening for our section, please join the group and your membership is guaranteed to be approved
I've learned that we need to increase the bandwidth of the wireless network!

I learned that our ACS Network could be very helpful to me.
being a chemist really can be cool.
Writing in passive deathly prose may be efficient, but is discouraged in media,.
I was able to gain more information about accessing the ACS Network and what is available within the Network.
One thing that I am learning about are the many ways that my section might use to broadcast activities that the section is participating in. I am also learning that the ACS Network can do a LOT more than I ever imagined I would do within the network!
Creating a Local Section Facebook Page can be helpful in targeting specific groups.
How to create a group
I learned some features that can be very helpful, including how to create a group.
How to find friends on the ACS network.
e a group
I learned how to create a group for our local section!
I learned that creating a section-specific Facebook page may be a more efficient way of getting section event information to members as compared to the newsletters and e-mails.
How to tag and sort my profile and contacts.
That there is definitely a need for our section members to learn how to use the ACS Network. I only found a few people, and even less have info in their profiles!
