Electronic state in an atom.   Do you still believe in the Self Consistent Field theory?

Question asked by Mitsuru Yamada on Jun 3, 2012

Think an atom of atomic number Z.

All of the Z electrons are in the same state.

The whole wave function is a function of 3Z variables.

In a 3Z dimensional space there appears 3Z! islands of high density place.

Attached a file which demonstrates the Self ConsistentField method is invalid, please open.
