What if the teammates are not also labmates?

Discussion created by Steven Meyers on Jul 26, 2012

While it is preferable to have teams comprised of labmates that have joint research to present in a poster format, other possibilities are feasible. Ultimately, as long as the two students are capable of presenting a joint poster that targets one of the SERMACS topics it would be administratively applicable for the award. For example, two ACS student chapter presidential succession members could give a joint chemical education poster on their chapter's activities. Importantly, the students must have prior experience working together to satisfy the poster requirement.
