Phenol red .04 Aqueous Solution

Phenolphthalein 1% in Ethyl Alcohol Solution

Methyl Orange 0.05% Aqueous Solution

Hydrochloric acid 1.0N

Distilled water.

50 ml titration buret

various syringes and glass containers.


Using any combination of the above listed items is it possible to accurately measure the amount of carbon in distilled water?


If so,  what is that procedure?
