isopropyl alcohol

Question asked by Stuart Hardee on Feb 18, 2015

I am not a chemistry Whiz, that said I want to know how to dry isopropyl alcohol past the 91% stuff on the pharmacy self. Have tried salting which works on the 70% stuff but does not seem to separate anything in the 91 stuff. I use it in cleaning Cooper's and printers and the 99% stuff from the supply companies gets out of hand when they attach the hazmat fees. 91% is the highest I can obtain locally.
