If Titanium Tetrachloride (TiCl4) was released to a room full of O2 at ambient temperature and humidity, it would react with the moisture in the air to form large amounts of HCL vapor. Literature on TiCl4 states that it will react to form HCl vapor and solid precipitate of Titanium dioxide and titanium hydroxides which settle as solid. What happens to the HCl vapor in a closed room? Will HCl form any part of the dust? Thank you for your help.
