GreenCentre Partners with Princeton University to Bring Catalyst Innovations to Market

KINGSTON, ONT. (August 25, 2015) — GreenCentre Canada and the Princeton University Office of Technology Licensing are pleased to announce a unique agreement to accelerate the commercialization of novel catalysts developed by Princeton researchers.

Under this agreement, GreenCentre will apply its unique combination of commercial and technical expertise, established industrial networks, and laboratory facilities to quickly advance these promising new catalysts into the market. The collaboration will initially focus on commercializing exciting new catalysts being developed by Princeton professor Paul Chirik, a world-leading researcher in developing catalysts for new and sustainable methods of chemical synthesis.

“GreenCentre is very pleased to have the opportunity to work with the high level of researchers at Princeton University and assist them in getting their catalysts to be used by industry,” said Pete Pigott, Executive Director of GreenCentre Canada. “These technologies being developed at Princeton have the potential to offer real sustainable solutions to the fine chemical industry.”

All scientific publication and intellectual property rights will remain with Princeton and its researchers. In addition to marketing and distribution of the catalysts through its industrial network, GreenCentre will provide its unique laboratory synthesis, optimization, application testing, and scale-up capabilities. The “invention to market” capabilities created by GreenCentre and Princeton by this agreement is ideal to truly bring new game-changing green catalyst technologies into the market.

Re: GreenCentre Partners with Princeton University to Bring Catalyst Innovations to Market

I just found out about this company in Germany.  Might be good to connect with them: http://www.dexlechem.com/products-services_en.html

They will be sponsoring the upcoming Sustainable Chemistry conf in Berlin Conference: Sustainable Chemistry 2015 | Umweltbundesamt

Will GreenCentre be there?
