solvent ratio for winterization

Question asked by kevin schulte on Aug 27, 2015

I make ejuice using real tobacco, the process involves maceration in propylene glycol followed by filtration, the problem is that it gunks up the coils when used, presumably from waxes and sugars inherent to the plant, a workaround I found was using pure grain alcohol as the solvent in place of propylene glycol, PGA concentrate can be winterized which removes unwanted waxes / sugars.

however this has a noticeable effect on flavor, I'm wondering at what ratio of PG to PGA I would still be able to get the winterizing effect at normal freezer temperatures? (if at all?)
