Our local section will be particpiating in a local March for Science on April 22. What are the regulations with regard to using an ACS logo on any signs we might make for the march?
Thanks for your question, John.
Since ACS has offered its support for the March for Science, local sections should feel free to use the ACS logo for materials related to the March (signs, fliers, etc.). This is, of course, pursuant to those materials being in keeping with the spirit of the March as a nonpartisan celebration of science and to the logo being used according to the guidelines established in the American Chemical Society Graphics Handbook for Members.
If you have specific concerns or questions about logo use, you can contact ACS's Office of the Secretary & General Counsel at (202) 872-4464 or email@example.com.
