I am working with the local Maryland Section of ACS to develop a booth at MARM to encourage involvement of current members. We have about 2000 members, but the same small group rotates through leadership roles, activity planning, and volunteer events. Does anyone have ideas on how to encourage other members to become involved? We also hope to increase graduate student participation. What works for your section? Do you find social media helpful? Thanks for your input and suggestions.
