The 27th Winter Fluorine Conference features invited oral presentations as well as contributed papers and posters by fluorine chemists. This conference provides a forum to discuss progress in modern Fluorine Chemistry including new developments in Organic, Inorganic, Fluoropolymer, Physical, Medicinal, and Biological Chemistry.
The biennial meeting began over fifty years ago to provide a forum for the cross-disciplinary disclosure of recent findings from researchers actively investigating the chemistry of fluorinated materials.
Technical programming areas will include:
- Organic and Bioorganic Fluorine Chemistry
- Fluoro-organometallic Chemistry
- Inorganic Fluorine Chemistry
- Fluoropolymer Chemistry
- Physical and Computational Fluorine Chemistry
- Industrial and Medicinal Fluorine Chemistry
The oral sessions will include not only presentations from leaders in the field but will also showcase the notable work of graduate students and postdocs. There will be two poster sessions - Sunday evening, January 5, 2025, during the Welcome Reception and on Wednesday morning, January 8, 2025, at the Buffet Breakfast and Expo. Each poster will be presented in both sessions to ensure everyone has a chance to peruse the many contributions.
