About Us
The Huron Valley Section of the American Chemical Society is a local section which includes most of Washtenaw County in the state of Michigan.
The section activities seek the encouragement and advancement of chemistry in all its branches, the increase and diffusion of chemical knowledge, the promotion of scientific interests and inquiry, and the stimulation of the professional interest and promotion of the well-being of its members
The activities of the section are coordinated through different committees under the supervision of the executive committee.
The latest version of our bylaws were approved on June 2009.
