The Department of Chemical, Physical, and Forensic Sciences at Cedar Crest College invites applications for a chemistry faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Instructor to begin January 2025.  The candidate must demonstrate proficiency teaching a diverse range of courses and a dedicated commitment to undergraduate education.  Successful candidates will collaborate as part of a team teaching lecture and laboratory courses in General, Organic, and Biochemistry (GOB) and Analytical Chemistry, alongside other courses in their field of expertise.  A Ph.D. (Assistant Professor) or Masters degree (Instructor) is required.  Preference will be given to candidates specializing in analytical chemistry, although all exceptional candidates will be considered. Candidates must have a passion for teaching introductory chemistry courses for the diversity of our College’s programs, including courses that support our nursing, allied health-science, and other programs, as well as departmental majors. Candidates should have a strong interest in curriculum development.
