Dear Colleagues,   We're thrilled to announce that the deadline for abstract submissions for the upcoming Virtual Polymer Physics Symposium (VPPS), hosted by Early Career Researchers in Polymer Physics and sponsored by the American Physical Society DPOLY, has been extended to July 21st (Submit abstract). We are accepting abstracts from graduate students and postdocs. VPPS allows researchers to present cutting-edge work in polymer physics to an engaged, international audience. The symposium, taking place August 7th-8th on Spatial Chat (see below .gif for an example), features two types of submissions: technical talk abstracts and table-of-contents-style poster abstracts.   Technical Talks: These sessions prioritize first-time presenters or early career researchers (ECRs) who were unable to attend conferences in 2023 due to visa/funding constraints. However, all graduate students and postdocs are encouraged to submit abstracts on broad interest topics in polymer science. This is a prime opportunity to share your latest research, receive feedback from esteemed colleagues, and further the field of polymer physics.   Table-of-Contents-Style Poster Competition: This unique competition invites graduate students and postdocs to submit TOC graphics that serve as visual introductions to their research. In contrast to conventional posters, these TOC graphics should be rich in visuals with minimal text, essentially narrating your research story through engaging schematics. The competition has cash prizes up to $100 for the top three submissions, making this a rewarding opportunity to showcase your innovative work.
