This summer the West Michigan ACS local section had a fun and educational time on the D.J. Angus research vessel!  The crew took us on a tour that allowed us to compare the water chemistry of Lake Michigan to Spring Lake.  We examined the vital signs of the lakes both at the top and bottom of the lakes using measures such as pH, turbidity and dissolved oxygen. Attached are some photos from our time on the research vessel including our raw data and a certificate of water quality studies. Do you have a 6th, 7th or 8th grader in your home that is bored and wants you to fix their problem? Do you want your middle schooler to know that their food doesn't just come from Meijer but that someone actually grows it? 🥕🌽🌶 Then you need to sign them up for the Food 2 Forage STEM camp!!  The registration deadline is June 25th.  See the attached flyer for more information.
