Starting Discussions & Asking Questions

*Note - You may click on images to enlarge

Starting a discussion or question allows users to engage in open conversations on the platform. There are multiple ways to start discussions or ask questions on the ACS Network.

One way to open a conversation is by clicking on the pencil icon in the user toolbar. "Ask a Question" and "Start a Discussion" will be on the top of the dropdown list.

If you are already in a forum or group, you may start a discussion or ask a question directly on your group page.

You should now be presented with a form to start your discussion/ask your question.

You will be asked where you would like to place this discussion or question.  You can search for a group or forum to place it in or you can add it into your own personal account of discussions and questions.

Be sure to tag the content if you would like other users to find it. With some forums and groups, you may be given the opportunity to choose the categories this new discussion falls under.

Select "Post" to publish the discussion.
