Goal 3 of the ACS Strategic Plan calls upon ACS to “be a global leader in enlisting the world’s scientific professionals to address, through chemistry, the challenges facing our world.”  The ACS Board of Directors has established the world challenges of sustainability (of e.g., energy, water, and food) as a level one priority.  To enable chemists, chemistry, and ACS to address these challenges, the Society has developed a CALL to Action (attached). Please examine the model and offer your comments below.   Please help us by circulating this model to your colleagues, so as to encourage more members to get involved and make a difference.
