The purpose of the ACS-CWD (American Chemical Society – Committee on Chemists with Disabilities) Travel Award is to encourage the participation of undergraduate/graduate students and post-docs with disabilities who will present a talk or poster at the Spring or Fall ACS National Meeting. Grant Details: A limited number of grants (up to $500) are available to local sections that wish to host an event/activity that meets the above criteria. Local Section/International Chapter Grants: The Committee on Corporation Associates provides funding for ACS Local Sections and International Chapters to promote industry-focused events at the local section and international chapter level. Events such as job fairs with local chemical employers, résumé writing workshops, networking receptions, and panel discussions with industry leaders - benefit local section and international chapter members employed in industry. To apply for the Local Section and International Chapter Grant, visit the Corporation Associates Grants webpage. Upon review and approval of submissions, Corporation Associates will fund up to $1,000 to help subsidize the costs associated with hosting these events and up to $5,000 in seed grants that further CA’s role in education, chemical industry, and safety in chemistry. Seed Grants: Help to further CA’s role in engaging to assist locals and chapters in education in the field of chemical sciences, in regard to chemical industry, and enhancement of professionalism and safety in chemistry.
