I am stuck between majoring in chemistry or computer science. I heard it is hard to get a good job in the chemistry field if you don't have a doctorate degree. For anyone who got a PHD or other doctorate degree in chemistry, was it worth it? Because in total, I think that means approximately 12 years of schooling. With a degree in computer science, you can get a high paying job right out of college with a bachelor's degree. I'm trying to figure out which path is better for me. I am really interested in chemistry, but I feel like I don't know enough about the jobs you can get to fully commit to it yet. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
