I bought an old RV and the refrigerator is specific for RVs. They have a cooling unit on the back that has ammonia, hydrogen gas, and sodium chromate to prevent corrosion.
My concern is the sodium chromate. I had to cut the pipe in the back of the fridge (long story) and gaseous ammonia shot out. What is the risk of sodium chromate also spewing out and coating everything in my RV?
Thank you for your help!
