Hello ACS Community Members, did you just get an email from a candidate for an ACS President-Elect sent from a list server at LLNL? I did, and I was wondering: how come my email is on a list server at LLNL? I guess the argument is that this is for ACS business - and LLNL is a government organization and therefore completely secure (?) - but I would prefer it if ACS did not share my address with other organizations for any reason. What do you think?
I bet there are quite a number of organizations who would like that list - which is mostly our ACS members work addresses - to market all kinds of things.
