How does water conditioner deplete oxygen levels? All I can find is that it "binds with oxygen molecules if there is no more chlorine or chloramide." Is it a proportional depletion?
Specifically, the water conditioner I have is Nutrafin Plus whose composition is: TETRASODIUM SALT OF ETHYLENE DIAMINE, TETRAACETIC ACID
but I'm hoping for any sort of answer involving general water conditioners (lots are made of thiosodium sulfate).
Thanks!
