Gathering and Analyzing student data to drive lesson planning.


I wanted to ask what kinds of data teachers have been gathering to inform their lesson planning aside from typical in-class progress monitoring, discussions, and summative assessments. The kinds of data that I want would looks like this:

1) Social-economically disadvantaged 
2) Foster Youth/Homeless
3) Engagement in afterschool sports/clubs

I would also like to know how the types of data you collect are best analyzed to inform lesson planning.
