The Central Texas Section of the American Chemical Society was founded in 1917.
We celebrated our 100th anniversary at a terrific banquet in 2017, a report of which may be viewed in the following pdf < Centennial Celebration>.
Geographically our section covers five counties; Travis, Williamson, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell.
We have a membership enrollment of 820 members.
