I've attached the results of a survey from those who joined the remote attendance experiment for the Future of Scholarly Communication symposium in San Francisco. The results are pretty positive. The major problem was the fact that on Monday afternoon, we did not have a feed from the sound system directly to the Adobe Connect Pro host computer. The audio was picked up from the speakers in the room, which was less than ideal. On Tuesday and Wednesday, we did have a direct feed, and this was much better.
One interesting result is that even though recordings are available after the fact, those who attended preferred that this live access be made available.
If you have any comments or questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Dave
