Working with ConC involves a lot of time interacting with other ConC members on committee assignments and also spending sufficient time with assigned committees so that good appointment decisions can be made. You should plan on attending all of the ConC meetings and a large proportion of your assigned committees (and their sub-committees). With this in mind, you can schedule other commitments at the national meeting.
