DAC continues to partner with the Committee on International Activities (IAC) to provide divisions with enhanced resources to help them engage and collaborate more effectively with international scientists. Later in the year, the two committees will distribute a white paper to help divisions achieve this goal of greater international engagement.
The document will review global developments and project future global trends. It will evaluate international opportunities for divisions to increase membership, collaborate on research, or partner in other professional activities. It will also highlight opportunities for exchange students and recruitment of graduate and postdocs overseas.
The paper will also include several important ACS Division case studies that will highlight some core strategies employed by divisions to achieve their international objectives.
DAC and IAC expect to release the white paper in June or July.
