The Muhlenberg College Chemistry Department invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position for the 2024-2025 academic year, beginning in August 2024, with the possibility of renewal for an additional year. Candidates with interest in any subdiscipline of chemistry, including chemical education, are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities will be in General Chemistry and may include lecture, laboratories, and recitations, with a teaching load equivalent to three courses per semester. A PhD in chemistry or ABD at the time of hire and successful completion of satisfactory background checks are required. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
