Nominations for the 2023 ACS Lexington Section Executive Committee are now open. This is your opportunity to actively contribute to the leadership and direction of our section. Please consider nominating yourself or a colleague who is a member of the ACS and who is enthusiastic about advancing the goals and initiatives of our local section.

Available positions for the 2023 ACS Lexington Section Executive Committee include:

1. Chair: The Chair presides at all meetings of the section and represents the section in the broader ACS community.

2. Vice-Chair: The Vice-Chair assists the Chair and performs the duties of the Chair in their absence.

3. Secretary: The Secretary is responsible for maintaining records of section activities, including meeting minutes and correspondence.

4. Treasurer: The Treasurer manages the section's finances, including budgeting, reporting, and financial planning.

5. Councilors: Councilors represent the section at the national level of the ACS and participate in decision-making on ACS policies and activities.

6. Alternate Councilors: Alternate Councilors serve as backup to Councilors and may participate in national ACS meetings when the Councilors cannot attend.

• Nominee's name and contact information.
• The position for which the nominee is being nominated.
• A brief statement (no more than 200 words) explaining why the nominee is a suitable candidate for the position.
