Chemfest 2017 UMaine NCW Activity
This year for National Chemistry Week, the UMaine ACS student group held our annual “Chemfest” event on October 26 in Aubert hall. In this even our group invites high schools from around the state to come to UMaine and listen to lectures, see chemistry demonstrations, and do hands on experiments revolving around the central theme for the year. The theme for this year’s even was “Chemistry Rocks”-the chemistry of rocks and minerals.
