Please join us in congratulating James Martinez of Bartlesville High School as the recipient of the Excellence in Chemistry Award in 2018.
This year’s Excellence in Chemistry Award was presented on May 18th during the Bartlesville High School Senior Awards Ceremony. James had participated in the Chemistry Olympiads and qualified for the National competition. He has also has won several awards in the local and state Science Fair competitions and taken a number honors science and math classes. The awards ceremony was well attended by over 400 seniors, teachers and parents. About 40 categories of awards were given to over 100 students during the event. The awards covered a wide range of topics from a number of local businesses and organizations. Northern Oklahoma ACS Councilor, Mazi Sardashti, presented the Excellence in Chemistry award on behalf of the ACS.
