Q: Can we have a site that includes more than one local section/division?
A: No. Each Local Section/Division must have its own contract with webs.com and its own separate presence online. However, we encourage you to communicate with each other and cross link between sites.
Q. I currently have a site. Will my URL change?
A. Yes, your URL will change to http://sitename.sites.acs.org. If you have heavily marketed the old site URL, ACS can help you with making sure the old site URL redirects to the new site. Please contact webhosting@acs.org.
Q: Are we allowed to have paid advertising?
A: Yes. Ads should support content on the site, not be visually distracting , and be clearly labeled as an advertisement.
