On Tuesday, April 2 at 7:30 a.m., we will have the Senior Chemists Breakfast during the ACS National Meeting in Orlando, FL at the Hilton Orlando Hotel, Orlando III. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Peter Hancock, Provost Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of Psychology and the Institute for Simulation and Training at the University of Central Florida (UCF). His talk "Sleights of Mind: Mysteries and Myths of Cognitive Deception” will show how hoaxes can deceive us, and will explain how and why we allow others to deceive us and how and why we even deceive ourselves at times. Tickets ($20) are available with ACS registration.
