April 11, 2005: "Clearing the air at the University - Biodiesel research at UNR," Dr. Jason Geddes, University of Nevada, Reno. Location: Famous Murphys Restaurant, 3127 S. Virginia St., Reno, 6:00 pm.
May 12, 2005: High School Awards Ceremony, featuring Dr. Ernest Malamud, Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Dr. Malamud will be speaking about "Einstein and the miracle year." The ceremony will be held on the UNR campus, in the Schulich Lecture Hall, room 1, at 5:30 pm.
September 6, 2005: "America's funniest chemical videos: Dazzling demos and videotaped bloopers," Dr. John J. Fortman, Wright State University. Location: Famous Murphys Restaurant, 3127 S. Virginia St., Reno, 6:00 pm.
October 4, 2005: "Einstein: His life and times," Dr. Robert Damrauer, the University of Colorado at Denver. Location: Austin's Restaurant, 7671 S. Virginia St., Reno, 6:00 pm.
December 9, 2005: "Organic and Biodynamic wines," Larry Sapperstein. Location: UNR, Reynolds School of Journalism, Reading Room, Reno, 6:00 pm.
